NWSA Requests Industry Stakeholders Complete Job Task Analysis Survey

(Fairfax, Virginia) - The National Wireless Safety Alliance (NWSA) is requesting that industry stakeholders complete an important Job Task Analysis Survey that the organization will be sending out in early November.

The Job Task Analysis Survey is designed to ensure that the NWSA’s technician exams reflect today’s work environment, regulations, and technology and is a required component of the credentialing organization’s operations in order to maintain ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) accreditation under the ISO/IEC 17024 standard.

The Job Task Analysis Survey was developed by a NWSA Review Committee that recently convened to review the Telecommunications Tower Technician 1 (TTT-1) and Telecommunications Tower Technician II (TTT-2) content outlines. This important survey, to be sent in early November to a distribution group that includes existing NWSA certificants and professionals from companies that have representatives who serve on the NWSA’s Board of Directors and Board of Governors, aims to gather feedback and validate the Job Task Analysis. Existing NWSA certificants who have recently updated their contact information and want to receive the survey are encouraged to send an e-mail to nwsa@nws-a.org.

"This Job Task Analysis Survey is an extremely important part of the NWSA test validation process and participation is vital in order to ensure that our trade certification programs and exams are updated to reflect advancements in the industry," stated Executive Director Duane MacEntee. "I would encourage the distribution group to make it their priority to help the industry by completing this survey," added MacEntee.

Industry workers, companies and stakeholders are encouraged to visit the NWSA website at www.nws-a.org to learn more about the organization and how to begin the process of obtaining certification.
