NWSA Announces Dates, Location for Spanish Speaking Practical Examiner Accreditation Workshop

January 18-20, 2022 Workshop in Charlotte, NC Aims to Increase the Number of Spanish-Speaking, Bi-Lingual Examiners

(Fairfax, Virginia) - The National Wireless Safety Alliance (NWSA) is encouraging industry employers, trainers and workers to register for the Telecommunications Tower Technician Practical Examiner Accreditation Program (PEAP) Workshop scheduled for January 18-20, 2022 in Charlotte, North Carolina..

Applicants for the workshop must be fluent in both English and Spanish. Additional requirements for workshop attendance may be found HERE. Eligible industry stakeholders are encouraged to contact Hal Henson from Mastec either by phone at (407) 491-8600 or e-mail hal.henson@mastec.com in order to receive an application and officially register for the workshop.

"Thanks to leadership of Mastec and a cadre of industry subject matter experts, the NWSA's TTT-I and TTT-II ANSI accredited trade certifications are currently accessible in Spanish. The next step for our organization is to increase the number of Practical Examiners who are bi-lingual and can administer these important field-based assessments to a growing and evolving Hispanic workforce," said Executive Director Duane MacEntee. "I would like to thank Mastec for hosting this special Spanish Speaking workshop at their Charlotte training facility," added MacEntee.
